Once a booking is in place, you may need to request a deposit payment from your customer or for the outstanding balance to be made before their booking takes place. This guide will show you how to attach the links to your confirmation email and how this works linking the payments through to the correct booking.
For this, you may wish to create a new confirmation duplicating your current Booking Confirmation.
Now that you are viewing the confirmation you wish to copy, you are going to select HTML from the toolbar.
This will open your HTML editor. You will now need to highlight all the text and use Ctrl + C to copy the text.
To exit this screen, select the X at the top right of the HTML editor.
To create your new confirmation, you are now going to select Add New from the confirmation dropdown menu.
Select back into the HTML Editor, and paste the HTML copied from your previous confirmation using Ctrl + V before selecting Update.
You will now have an exact copy of your previous confirmation that you can now edit and amend.
Once you have added the new text that you wish to your new confirmation, you can add the deposit link. To locate the coding for the payment link, you will be looking to select the 'i' icon next to Field Information, this will open a file with all the field references.
The field references are in alphabetical order, if you scroll down to Payment Link (Deposit), you will then want to select 'Copy' to copy and then paste this where you wish within your confirmation template.
An Outstanding Balance link can be used to encourage a customer to pay their outstanding balance X days before their booking takes place.
Using the Balance Needed X days before Played Task type, this will also acknowledge if the full balance has already been paid and if the email needs sending.
To duplicate an existing booking confirmation, you will be looking to pop into Settings > Select the blue arrow next to Editors, this will open a sub-menu > Select the confirmation you wish to copy from your confirmation dropdown menu.
